about

dating pool EP is a pastiche of a time in my life where i wasn’t good to myself. it talks about anecdotes of me falling into bad situations again and again, looking for myself in others. but, i don’t regret it, and even if i did i can’t change the past! on the surface, it’s about how horrific the dating scene is as a young woman, but underneath it’s about my tendency to want to romanticise trauma and pain, though now i know that isn’t the solution to anything, really, it just got me in a lot of shit. in hindsight i look back on my naivety with fondness, but I’m still growing and changing everyday.
